Poverty

A new week which brings me to a new post for the stubc08 competition. This week it is all about poverty. In our world there are millions of people suffering through poverty everyday and for some of them even their whole life. It is a very sad thing. When I hear the word poverty I think of people without money, food, water, and sometimes a place to call home. It is a disturbing matter that bothers me and needs to be changed. Like we did in my elementary school, just collecting food from kids in the school and bringing it to a place like the Dominican Republic can help. I believe as a country and as a world we can do something about this and will do something about this even if it one person at a time.

  1. That is what the world needs to do Anthony. Improve the status of people one person at a time which will then improve a family and a community. We can do it if everyone helps.

  3. Hi Anthony – Thanks for visiting The Edublogger to tell me what you are enjoying about the competition. I noticed that your blog posts were quite fitting onto your blog and it had me stumped as to what was happening. So I hope you are okay that I fixed it for you so I could work out why?

Any way worked it out — it is those tricky links. Unfortunately they were too long for the post and upsetting them. Lots of adults have trouble adding links. Here is a post that explains how to add links so you don’t have this problem. It is quite a detailed explanation so if you are having trouble perhaps your teacher could show you what I mean?

Best of luck with your blogging! You are doing an excellent job.
